Hurry up and slow down

Is anybody else having a hard time getting back into the swing of things??  We’re all back into our regular routines of school and work.  The suitcases have been unpacked and put away.  Presents and decorations put away.  But I can’t help feeling like I’m behind – even though I’m not.  Maybe it’s the frantic holiday pace that I’m missing.  I feel like I should be busy when really I don’t need to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

As I’m writing this I realize that I have to finish getting ready for my staff meeting or I’ll be late!  Gotta run!  (how ironic is that?!)

You should be proud of yourself. I still haven’t unpacked from Christmas and the decorations (including the tree) are still up all over the house. I still have presents to pack and cards to send. Well, in our defense, we passed that achey flu around the house and we haven’t actually seen all the family yet. Pack yourself on the back and read a book. 🙂

I must have packing on the brain since I have a cross-country-family vacation next week. I meant “pat” yourself on the back. oops.

I still have a million things left to do, to get back into the swing of things. We haven’t even started school, yet. We’ll do that next week. Next week I also plan to take down the tree and the decorations. I think everything that happened proceeding Christmas, and then getting a new dog, this week has put a cramp in things. Congrats to you for being all caught up!
